We have made it through the winter months, almost, and we are looking forward to the warm summer days. Through the winter months I was in Albuquerque for radiation cancer treatment. That ended about a week ago. Everything turned out well. I should know in about three months if the treatment is working.

We are looking forward to a Spring teaching on the "end times" from Mark Case, an itinerant Bible teacher from Mississippi. Mark's ministry has take him around the world several times, to places including the Middle East and Iraq.

Remember Easter is late this year, at the end of April. We are now making preparation for the summer Vacation Bible School. If you would like to join us in that ministry, please contact Ann Jenkerson at 1-575-772-5156.

The Women's Bible Study on Wednesday mornings carried on throughout the winter; along with the Youth Outreach in the Community. Both of these ministies have been very effective in reaching folks in the community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

I have continued my Bible studies and have published some of them on LULU.com. The focus of these studies is "Tabernacle Counseling." I find in the tabernacles of Moses and David physical models for developing an understanding of the Christian life. It is from the tabernacle that we understand the Apostle Paul's teaching on sanctification and living and walking in the Spirit/spirit.

The Sunday morning service was great! We had a special guest in the service whose name is Jesus. He seemed to be saying that we need to make a plan and work the plan. He seems to be saying to focus on His last words just before He ascended into heaven to rule from His throne of grace ... to tell others about Him.

The past few weeks we have heard of a healing of one of our brothers, the appearing of an angel to one of our sisters, and the Holy Spirit speaking directly to a stranger's heart in response to an urgent prayer from one of our fellow Christian brothers.

We just received a phone call that asked us to write an article about the work of the church for a local newspaper that is in the making. We received financial help from an unexpected source. We have an inside prayer and ministry source in the Walter Reed Hospital in Washington DC who gives us prayer requests. We have a chaplain in the Army whom we hear from often asking for our support. We have a youth group that is reaching out to the youth in the Datil area. The Lord has sent a young couple from Patrick Henry College in Virginia to lead in this ministry. We have a ministry to the Senior Citizens. We have folks in the church who are eager to minister to one another in love.

We are expecting more of the same! The Lord is preparing our hearts in these winter days to enter into service with Him.
