When this nation of ours was founded,

It was based on the Word of God.

Men prayed, and listened, and were guided by

The Mighty Shepherd's Staff and Rod.

 

But, two hundred years have come and gone.

Oh, my!  How things have changed!

No prayer in schools, no manger scenes,

and many cultists who act deranged.

 

"Not politically correct!' the feminists cry;

"Change 'Father' to 'Mother' or at least to a 'person' ",

Make Him a God of Love - but not of Wrath;

Then things will get better instead of worsen.

 

"Change the Bible to the way we want it!"

Cry others with voices loud.

Forget about Hell; that's to frightening!

To teach our children - it's just not allowed!

 

I wonder what will happen when

Christ returns to the world again,

And Hell becomes real - and Heaven, too.

Men will find Faith in a hurry, then!!
